PERMANENT EYEBROWS

Eyebrows are the frames of the eyes.  Without eyebrows, our face appears expressionless. Our eyebrows show our emotions and make our face look complete. It is not uncommon for eyebrow growth to slow down or stop growing completely as we enter into our mid 30’s and older. Although less common, this can happen to younger women too. Sometimes sickness or accidents cause a full or partial loss of eyebrow hair. For what ever reason, our once beautiful brows have gone away, never to return.

Darlene is an award winning artist and will give you beautiful, natural looking, very real looking eyebrows. Gone are the days where you have to pencil in your brows, never getting them the same way twice. You will love your new, realistic looking eyebrows!

Hair stroke brows are Darlene’s specialty. Tattooed hair strokes are being renamed almost daily. No matter what name someone gives them, the fact is you want them to look great and look natural! You just won’t find a better artist to do this job for you, and do it right! You may have to wait to get in, but it’s worth the wait! Don’t be in such a hurry that you settle for the place that can get you in the quickest, or the place that does it cheapest. This is your face! Nice work is not cheap, and cheap work is not nice!

MICROBLADING / HAIR STROKE BROWS

Microblading is not a new technique, but the term is. A handtool is used to create the illusion of realistic looking hair stroke eyebrows, but in some cases other tools or equipment will be used for the same results. The look of hair strokes creates the most natural looking eyebrows.

Microblading isn’t the best option for some types of skin. There are other types of permanent eyebrows that are every bit as beautiful but may be better suited for some skin types.

Hair stroke brows do fade over time and touchps can be done in one to two years to refresh the color again. Rarely do they fade completely away. For this reason they are considered permanent makeup, contrary to what newer technicians are being taught and conjecturing.

Eyebrows that have been done with hairstrokes can easily be changed into a beautiful soft powder filled brow at a future visit if you should want a different look down the road.

OMBRE / POWDER BROWS

The powder brows technique is less invasive and less traumatic to the skin. Unlike the hand tool that is used for microblading, a tattoo like machine designed for the face is used to create a soft powdery brow that mimics the look of traditional brow makeup. Powder brows are best suited for women who desire the look of having makeup on their brows. Powder brows fade over time as well, but usually do last longer than hairstroke brows.

Ombre eyebrows begin with a softer look at the front of the brows nearest the nose and gradually get darker towards the tails. This is a good choice of permanent eyebrow for anyone who wants a softer look. Ombre brows will fade more quickly at the front where less color is put in to begin with.

Touchups can be done as soon as a year, but many clients don’t have them touched up for 2-3 years or longer.

Combination brows combine any two or more brow techniques. This can give the look of having hairstrokes and traditional makeup on the brows.
